Introduction

This is a friendly part of the Middle East, with lots to see.
Not a very expensive location either.
Food is also a great experience, but of course one
must be careful as with any place.

Moroccan Colloquial Arabic

Dar Loughat Cross-Cultural Center in Tetouan.
In theory, open all year around.
Also teaches MSA and follows the al Kitab fi taalum al Arabia system.

Modern Standard Arabic

Qalam Center in Rabat.
Friendly language centre with extra-curricular projects, e.g. cooking, teaching English to locals.

Classical Arabic

Subul Assalam Centre for the Arabic Language in Fez.
Books in use include the *bayna yadayk* series.

Politics and safety

Generally, Morocco is politically stable, but again, the best
course is to avoid all such conversations.¹
