This is the Arabeasy that my teacher taught me (with a few of my own additions and modifications).
She said it became popular, for a while, due to it being a cheaper method of TXTing long messages.
So this is also ideal for writing in colloquial as it may help to avoid getting MSA and the colloquials mixed-up.
